ISF Form 10+2 Info (Importer Security Filing) Template
What is ISF Form? U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) published a rule entitled “Importer Security Filing and Additional Carrier Requirements” in the Federal Register (73 FR 71730) on Nov 25, 2008. The rule requires both importers and carriers to submit additional information pertaining to cargo to CBP before the cargo is brought into the United States by ocean vessel, full enforcement of ISF form established on Jan 26, 2010.
The Importer Security Filing must be amended if there is a change or more accurate information becomes available before the goods enter the limits of the port of first arrival in the United States .
ISF must be provided 72 hours prior to shipment being loaded onto an ocean vessel to your consignee and failure to comply with this requirement may result penalties by US custom to importer.
